This week, Open Arms Mission hosted a free food giveaway as a result of generous donors and a local restaurant. Swiss Chalet on Niagara Street donated 100 fresh chickens, which were distributed. Other items at the giveaway included white and chocolate milk, eggs, produce, and bread.

Mayor Frank Campion and City Councillors assisted with the free food giveaway and distributing non-surgical masks. People receiving food also received a package of face masks at the event. The masks were donated by MedSup Canada to Niagara’s municipalities and are being distributed through local agencies.
