THREE major food banks in Welland have come together with Seaway to challenge the community to raise food and essential items BY FILLING AN ENTIRE UNIT in the mall from! That’s Open Arms Mission, The Hope Centre, and Holy Trinity Church. Our goal is not just to raise food, but to raise awareness and spread hope at the same time!
The unit we chose is located inside the mall (800 Niagara St) beside EarlyON. It has 2900 square feet to work with and is lined with shelving from floor to ceiling. We can’t wait for everyone to see how their contributions “stack up”!
So what’s the daily challenges?! Keep reading! 
Monday April 17th: Dignitary Day. 11AM-5PMWe challenge them to see who can raise the most by weight and money. Winner(s) get a prize.
Tuesday April 18th: Large Corporation Day. 11AM-5PMWe challenge them to see who can raise the most by weight and money. Winner(s) get a prize.
Wednesday April 19th: Small Business Day. 11AM-5PMIf you donate, you get one (1) ballot entry for a prize.
Thursday April 20th: General Public Day. 11AM-8PMIf you donate, you get one (1) ballot entry for a prize.
Friday April 21st: School Day. 11 AM – 5PMWhich classroom can raise the most? Winning class gets a prize!
Saturday April 22nd: Fun Zone Day! 11 AM – 5PMWe challenge the community to come out to the mall and participate in our “Fun Zone For Kids” where we will have a bouncer in Center Court. Admission is $2 or a non-perishable good.
Sunday April 23rd: Drive-Thru Donation Day. 11 AM – 5PMVisit our front parking lot—if you donate, you get one (1) ballot entry for a prize.
Oh, did we forget to mention there’s prizes? Absolutely!
