Food For Hope a Community Success

In response to the urgent need to refill The Hope Centre’s food bank stores, Wesley United Church held a “drive by” food drive this past weekend. Thanks to the community’s support, 1700 pounds of food was delivered on Monday. Many thanks to all who supported this initiative!

About The Hope Centre Community Lunch Program & Food Bank

Community Lunch Program:

Through relationships with various volunteer and church groups along with local restaurants, we are able to provide nourishing meals to our community.
We serve as many as 70-80 people a day.
Our Community Lunch operates Monday-Friday 11:30 am-12:30 pm (excluding holidays)

The Food Bank:

We receive food from the Ontario Association of Food Banks, the annual Welland Food Drive, private donations, community food drives as well as small grants through Food Banks Canada.

We provide supplementary groceries, including dairy products, to registered members once per month.
The Food Bank operates Monday- Friday 9:30am-11:45am & 12:30pm-2:45pm (excluding holidays)
