The Welland McMaster Family Health Team (WMFHT) is a not-for-profit organization which opened in 2011. We provide superior interdisciplinary health care services for approximately 17,000 patients covering the communities of Welland, Pelham, Port Colborne and surrounding area.

The Welland McMaster Family Health Team seeks 2 community members to join our volunteer Board of Directors. We are looking for someone 18 years or older who has a passion for improving the health and well-being of their community.

The WMFHT Board of Directors provides strategic organizational leadership, vision, and maintains high ethical standards.

The Board meets approximately six times throughout the year. Each meeting is approximately 2 hours. New members receive orientation to the work of the Family Health Team, the role of the board and governance policies.

This is a two-year volunteer appointment with the possibility of renewal for three additional two-year terms. There is no remuneration. This position is not open to WMFHT staff or their immediate families.
