Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Welland Mayor’s Charity Organizing Committee has made a difficult decision to cancel this year’s Mayor’s Charity Event, which was scheduled for Friday, October 16, 2020. Several sponsors generously gifted their sponsorships to this year’s recipients, Niagara Nutrition Partners and Education Foundation of Niagara.

“The health and well-being of our community members is our top priority,” said Mayor Frank Campion.

“A sincere thank you to all community-minded businesses and guests who have supported the Mayor’s Charity Event in past years. Your generosity and support are greatly appreciated. We hope to partner with you again in the future.”

“We would like to recognize Welded Tube of Canada, Youngs Insurance, Ashton Homes and Mountainview Building Group,” said Charity Organizing Committee Chair, Theresa Ettorre. “Their generous support will benefit the well-being and prosperity of our community for years to come.”
