When we opened the doors 27 years ago, never in our wildest dreams could we have imagined a global health crisis. No one could have imagined an order from the provincial government to close all dine-in restaurants, effective March 16, 2020.

We are all in this together. We share the pain of not only our staff, but the millions of people across the country who have lost their livelihoods.

When this surreal ordeal is over, and we get the go-ahead to open the doors, M.T. Bellies will be ready to welcome you back!

Our hard-working conscientious staff — the heart and soul of our restaurant — make the MTB world go round. They make our place a joyful, more hospitable, place to work and to visit.

At all times we have done our best to look out for our crew and provide them with a safe and soul-satisfying environment. Now, we are being called to action to fight for them. We’re doing everything we can to help and that includes appealing to you: our community, friends and family.
