Elevate Living’s founder Drew Toth, a force in sustainable urban residential development in Niagara region, and the esteemed Chair of the Urban Economy Forum, Reza Pourvaziry a 25 year veteran of the innovative program,  met at the World Urban Pavilion to discuss a potential collaboration for Elevate Living, the Urban Economy Forum as well as the UN Habitat global initiative. This meeting marks the start of a potential collaboration that could impact the trajectory of sustainable urban development in cities locally and globally as both leaders convene to discuss the residential project, Warbler Place Urban Village.

Welland, Ont.’s, Warbler Place Urban Village, a development by Elevate Living, stands as a testament to the organization’s commitment to transforming an urban landscape from a mere parking lot into a thriving haven of community health and wellbeing. With a mission to redefine urban living, the development aims to construct 1,150 units featuring a diverse array of missing middle housing types to foster inclusivity, along with pedestrian-first streets and walkways that prioritize accessibility and connectivity to major amenities within the Seaway Mall (locally known as a “community hub”).

The meeting between Reza Pourvaziry and Drew Toth was enlightening as both visionaries exchanged ideas on how to elevate urban living standards while prioritizing sustainable communities and cities. This esteemed opportunity positions Warbler Place Urban Village as a potential global project demonstration for urbanization, showcasing its innovative approach to fostering vibrant, sustainable communities.
