The YMCA of Niagara’s annual Move for Kids event returns for a morning of high-energy activities, community connection, and purpose-driven movement across four Centres of Community – all in support of YMCA programs that help children and youth realize their full potential.

Participants include YMCA staff, local families, businesses, and community partners. Several elected officials will also be in attendance, including MP Vance Badawey; Mayor Mat Siscoe of St. Catharines; Fort Erie Mayor Wayne Redekop; and Councillors Sharmila Setaram (City of Welland) and Mark Stevens (City of St. Catharines).
Why:
Every move made on April 12 supports programs that empower children and youth across Niagara — from summer day camps to swim lessons and community youth programming. This half-day event celebrates the power of collective action to create opportunities and spark positive change.
