Supporters of not-for-profits in Hamilton and Niagara can now raise funds for their favourite organizations easier than ever before by downloading the Many Seeds app. Created by Many Seeds, a Niagara/Hamilton based start-up, the app will notify users once per day that new ads are available for them to view. The funds paid by the advertiser are directed to up to three local not- for-profit organizations chosen individually by the supporter viewing them.

“We think we’ve created a win-win-win situation,” said founder Jordan Hambleton, “Supporters get to raise real money easily and without dipping into their own wallets or asking others for money, not-for-profit organizations gain an innovative, brand new source of revenue with little to no investment required, and advertisers get to connect with supporters by making meaningful contributions to the causes that matter to them.”

Many Seeds is now exploring advertising partnerships that will allow us to expand beyond Hamilton and Niagara to the rest of Ontario and Canada.

Update Facts:

Having started with 27 not-for-profit organizations on launch day in November 2022, supporters now can choose from over 50 local organizations, with more joining regularly.

Advertisers such as PenFinancial, Dine Niagara and Brock University Professional and Continuing Studies are just a few who have advertised with Many Seeds.

Over $3,500 has been raised for local organizations through the app.
