Our vision at Positive Living Niagara is centered around creating an adaptive community that accepts and supports those affected by HIV, HCV, STBBIs, and substance use, and we believe that a diverse and dynamic Board is integral to achieving this goal. We value individuals who are eager to learn about and actively participate in non-profit governance, encompassing strategic decision-making, policy work, networking, and operational fundraising. Furthermore, we seek those with a genuine interest in discovering opportunities for growth through continuous learning, collaboration, and consensus building.
While we appreciate the importance of varied perspectives, we are particularly interested in individuals with experience in:
- Legal
- Accounting/Financial Management
- Fundraising
- Human Resources
- Lived Experience of HIV and/or substance use
