South Niagara Artists is a network of professional artists and artisans living along the South Coast of the Niagara Region from the Township of Wainfleet through the City of Port Colborne to the Town of Fort Erie.

​Over the years, hundreds of guests have taken the opportunity to visit the artists in their studios during the tour weekends, which showcase pottery, jewellery, collages, paintings, mixed-media assemblages, photography, metal sculpture, stained glass, woodcarvings, blown glass and more. The summer tour weekend has been consistently scheduled on the Saturday and Sunday weekend following the Civic Holiday and the Fall Tour is usually takes place on the weekend before Canadian Thanksgiving.

Most members open their studios year round by appointment, but the tours give visitors a chance to watch an artist demonstrate their craft and truly engage in the experience of a “living studio”, gaining insight into their processes, inspiration, and creative energy. Original, one of a kind work is always for sale directly from the artist.

This year’s Studio Tours that were scheduled for August and October 2020

have been cancelled, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, 

Out of an abundance of caution, and given the serious threat of COVID-19 and the daily breaking news reports warning us all, with much regret, it is felt the 2020 South Niagara Artists Studio Tours be cancelled.  We are disappointed in having to make this decision but feel it is essential to remain safe both for the artists having visitors in the studios, and our visitors being exposed to crowded situations.

Studios are open by appointment year-round.
