In early July, local lefty pitcher, Ethan Wells, made the trek to Louisiana to pitch in the Future Stars National Combine. Ethan was one of 175 athletes in North America selected to participate in the three day event which included skills evaluation and two days of tournament games. Wells had a stellar performance with no hits allowed and no balls leaving the infield.
But the work isn’t quite done yet!
In an effort to make a difference both on and off the field, players were encouraged to select a charity to raise funds for. Ethan has selected the Tim Tebow Foundation to fight human trafficking. Players have until the end of July to hit their fundraising goals. Many thanks to all those friends, family and community supporters that have already supported Ethan in his campaign!
