The Seaway Mall is once again hosting its Spring It Forward Food Drive, in support of The Hope Centre, Holy Trinity Outreach, and Open Arms Mission of Welland Inc.

From April 28 to May 3, visitors are encouraged to bring non-perishable food donations to Centre Court to help support local families in need.

This year’s food drive is proudly supported by Purolator, who is providing their signature red donation bags as part of their Tackle Hunger initiative. You can pick up a red bag at the mall, fill it with food items, and return it to Centre Court throughout the week.

Hunger should never be a child’s problem—yet 1 in 3 Canadians who rely on food banks are children. By participating in the food drive, you’ll be helping to fill the shelves at local food banks that are working every day to support the most vulnerable members of our community.

Drive-Thru Donation Day will be held on Friday, May 3 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the front parking lot of Seaway Mall. This convenient option allows donors to simply drive up and drop off their items without even leaving their vehicles.

Every contribution, big or small, makes a difference. Let’s come together as a community and Spring It Forward.
