Canoeing for Care: A Build Your Smile Quest
September 13 @ 6:00 am - 8:00 pm
In a remarkable feat of endurance and compassion, explorer Adam Shoalts and Dr. Peter Fritz will embark on a daring adventure: canoeing across Lake Ontario. Their mission is to raise funds for the Build Your Smile Dental Foundation (BYSDF), an organization dedicated to improving access to dental health and education.
About the Quest: Adam Shoalts and Dr. Peter Fritz are paddling across Lake Ontario as part of the “Canoeing for Care” initiative. This event is scheduled to take place on one day between September 13-15, depending on weather conditions. This year’s paddle challenge aims to shine light on the limited access to critical dental care and widespread oral diseases in Uganda. BYSDF provides year-round dental care and oral hygiene education to rural communities in Uganda. By contributing to this fundraiser, you will support essential dental services and education in these communities in Uganda.
The Build Your Smile Dental Foundation (BYSDF): The BYSDF operates on the fundamental belief that dental care is a human right, not a privilege restricted to a select few. Their mission transcends geographical boundaries through meaningful partnerships with groups in remote parts of the world. The foundation’s work focuses on breaking down barriers to dental care accessibility, ensuring that everyone has access to quality oral health care and education. Learn more at BYSDF.org.
How You Can Help: Your generosity matters! Every contribution, regardless of size, makes a significant impact. By donating to BYSDF, you directly support dental services and education in Uganda. Together, we can bring smiles to communities most in need.
