October 10th is World Mental Health Day! Today is an internationally recognized day dedicated to advocacy and raising awareness for those living with mental illness.
Did you know that 1 in 3 Canadians will be affected by a mental illness during their lifetime? Talking about mental health is difficult, but it doesn’t have to be.
By starting the conversation and speaking positively about mental illness and mental health struggles with our loved ones and within our community, we may start to fight against social stigma and break down barriers for those who are hesitant to ask for help.
