Since 2000, NCF has been turning your intent into impact.

As a public community foundation, NCF pools the donations of individuals, businesses and families into a permanent, income-earning endowment fund, reinvesting those earnings back into the community through grants. What started with two $100,000 donations has now surpassed $76 million in assets, and over 400 fundholders and GROWING .

NCF has a finger on the pulse of the community. Over the last five years, we have proudly granted an average of $2 million each year, addressing the top priorities across Niagara – from arts and culture, environment, health, education and social services, often serving traditionally underrepresented communities. Today the most pressing needs may be affordable housing. Tomorrow, the need could be support for mental health. NCF is empowering our community today and tomorrow.

Our staff works collaboratively with our volunteers, board of directors, civic leaders, and charitable partners to grow philanthropy in Niagara. We set a high standard for strong governance and are an accredited organization through Imagine Canada.
