The Niagara Health Foundation is proud to recognize Domenic DiLalla, President of Centennial Construction & Contracting, for his generous donation of $2 million to the new South Niagara Site of Niagara Health. Since 1992, Centennial Construction & Contracting has been a reliable and reputable business in Niagara.
Domenic strongly believes that giving back is one of the responsibilities of the corporate world. Through team sponsorships, event donations and individual philanthropy, Centennial Construction and its employees are always willing to lend a helping hand to organizations across Niagara. As part of Domenic’s dedication to giving back, he has made a significant donation to the Niagara Health Foundation. This donation will help bring state-of-the-art healthcare to the Niagara Region.
Domenic’s personal experience and family history of heart disease are what inspired this transformative gift. Domenic is currently rebuilding his life after he underwent quadruple bypass surgery earlier this year. He noted, “The best thing you can do is give back to your community, especially for hospitals and healthcare, because it is something that every single person needs at some point in their lifetime, whether it is a loved one, your neighbour, or yourself.”
Domenic’s $2 million gift to the South Niagara Site of Niagara Health will be recognized with the Cardio-Respiratory Diagnostics Unit being named The DiLalla Family Cardio-Respiratory Diagnostics Unit. This gift will ensure that patients across our region have outstanding cardiac care close to home.
“Domenic DiLalla’s longstanding commitment for giving back to the community is admirable. We’re so appreciative of his transformative contribution to the South Niagara Site. This generous gift, inspired by the DiLalla family’s personal experience with heart disease, will help ensure future generations of Niagara residents receive high-quality care in the new Cardio-Respiratory Diagnostics Unit.” – Lynn Guerriero, President and CEO, Niagara Health.
“Mr. DiLalla’s generosity and care for the vital health services needed in Niagara is simply incredible. Through his own healthcare journey, he has seen the importance of a strong Niagara Health and through his continued support and leadership, we are able to move our campaign for the new hospital that much closer to a reality. When residents visit the new hospital, and see the DiLalla Family name on the wall, they will know that the community is supporting them on their own journey of care.” – Andrea Scott, President and CEO of the Niagara Health Foundation.
“When you have a chance to change the face of healthcare in Niagara, you jump on board and that is exactly what Domenic DiLalla and Centennial Construction have done. We are so proud of our community and how they are leading the way to get the South Niagara Site built.” – Campaign Co-Chairs, Mayor Jim Diodati and Harry Oakes.
The Niagara Health Foundation will be celebrating the It’s Our Future Founding Donors over the next few months and want to thank all those who have already generously donated to the campaign. To date, more than $22 million has been pledged in support of the new South Niagara Site of Niagara Health.
