The Mighty Niagara Film Fest  is ready to set sail again and explore the ever-expanding ocean of the moving image. The festival launches August Thursday 16 August through It is focussed keenly on films made about or in Niagara and by filmmakers with connections to the region. The festival uniquely makes space for the experimental and the extraordinary.

Audiences are treated to a spectrum of local and international films, exclusive filmmaker Q+As, and events curated by NAC’s programming committee. Venues include Stratus Vineyards, the TCO Rooftop Terrace and the Microcinema at the Niagara Artists Centre, The Film House at the FirstOntario Performing Arts Centre, and new venues Landmark Cinemas, Coronation Park Niagara Falls, the Skyview Drive-in, and more
