A Program Director with fresh new ideas! Our new Program Director, Timothy Watson is very busy preparing for March Break Camp, Spring Programming for local schools and Summer Camp. Tim is enthusiastic about using his creativity and over 10 years of camp experience to enhance our long-standing reputation of offering quality programs to young people for over 70 years.
March Break Camp is a go! Our new all-seasons Conference Centre allows us to offer a March Break camp this winter. This camp will include a full week of activities planned outdoors to help kids unplug and reconnect with nature. Children will enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking the Bruce trail, playing outdoor games together, and creating fun nature crafts. We are preparing for Summer Camp! During February and March, we are hiring spring and summer staff to work with youth ages 5 to 12 years. We need head camp staff, counsellors, kitchen and program staff. We are especially looking for staff with lifeguarding certifications and high ropes/climbing experience. Summer staff gain a variety of leadership skills that will serve them in many future careers. Feel good about booking your venue with us! Our facilities include the rustic Hoxie Hall and our new state-of-the art Conference Centre which have three meeting spaces with commercial kitchens, accessible washrooms, and year-round accommodations. We have a unique amphitheatre and pavilion for outdoor gatherings. The site is ideal for family or group gatherings, weddings, retreats, and business meetings.
