Alrighty folks the ALMIGHTY update! We have been working hard to check COVID-19 updates weekly in order to make the best possible decision moving forward with #OnBoard2020. This year will look a little bit different…
1) The charity paddle has been cancelled due to the limit of the number of group members that can participate in any form of a gathering. Therefore Maddi Leblanc and her family plan to paddle together on Sunday July 19th to still raise awareness for brain cancer research to remember Julia Turner, Lynn Lambert, Dalton Jacques and continuing to honour McKenna Modler.
2) Therefore in order of change #1 an online donation page will be set up soon with the Canadian Cancer Society so that you may contribute to brain cancer research if you still wish to support! So keep your eyes peeled for the link coming soon!
3) We are currently trying to contact our local duty officer with the Niagara Region in order to determine at this point whether if we will still be able to host the OSS race portion of the event… so stay tuned for updates here!
