“Flower farming can be hard and that’s why we are very thankful for all of your support and appreciation throughout the season! It keeps us going when we’re staying up late on a Friday night making bouquets or pulling weeds on an long row of tiny lisianthus seedlings.
Early spring growing comes with many challenges. April is often called Mud season by flower farmers but it could just as easily be called Aphid season, Powdery Mildew season or Botrytis season. The struggle is real! We are learning lots and we appreciate you supporting us and following along with us on our flower journey.
This week the Flower Stand will be open Tuesday from noon till 4 and Wednesday through Saturday from 10 – 4. We started picking our field tulips so Mixed Tulip + Ranunculus bundles will return to the stand this week! Cash or e-transfer is accepted at the flower stand. We are conveniently located between Grimsby, Beamsville, and Smithville at 4189 Walker Road in Lincoln. Feel free to message us anytime with questions you may have. “
