Two years ago, on June 6, 2020, Sherri organized and facilitated Niagara’s massive peaceful demonstration, Justice4BlackLives.
After learning of the brutal murder of yet another unarmed black man Sherri knew she could no longer remain silent.
From that day on Sherri has completely committed herself to the Fight4Change.
Sherri is Chair of Niagara’s first Anti Racism Committee. She also works with The Niagara Falls History Museum, NRP, and the Niagara Region Advisory Board.
Sherri has been asked to advise on many panels and speaks on numerous platforms. She hosts educational workshops on Anti- Racism and runs book clubs, and finds safe spaces to have these very difficult, but needed, conversations.
Sherri is passionate about her cause and has unapologetically lifted the veil of Racism in Niagara. Her “Let’s Stop Pretending We Don’t See The Elephant In The Room” approach is refreshing.
