Forest Creek Farmhouse Peony roots typically sell out by June but are not shipped out until October. “Our premium peony roots will have a minimum of 3-5 eyes, but our large and healthy roots often have many more eyes so your plant will establish and bloom faster.”

Forest Creek Farmhouse is a small family-run farmstead located on 25 serene + biodiverse acres in the Town of Pelham.
Forest Creek Farmhouse specializes in selling herbaceous peonies, rare breed chickens + geese, fertile hatching eggs, and honey bees.
We have the honour and privilege of being the day to day stewards of this beautiful land, but it is important to us that we acknowledge the land on which we farm is the territory of the Haudenosaunee and Anishinaabe peoples. This territory is covered by the Upper Canada Treaties and is within the land protected by the Dish With One Spoon Wampum agreement. This reminds us that our great standard of living is directly related to the resources and friendship of Indigenous peoples.
On our farm we currently have a flock of very spoiled chickens + Sebastopol geese, a chicken-loving bunny, an amazing protector in Scout our dog, some resident deer, Sebastopol geese, and some pretty kick ass bees…for now. To encourage biodiversity on the farm, we have planted over 5000 trees, added bird houses + habitats, and use sustainable practices to feed the animals + keep giving back to the land. It’s a labour of love.
Growing up in Vineland, Ontario, Ang (she/her) had the benefit + experience being born into one of the most innovative families the Canadian horticulture industry via her family’s business Sunrise Greenhouses in Vineland, Ontario. In addition to a love of flowers, her parents instilled in her a love of animals. Chris (he/him) is a skilled outdoorsmen + craftsman who has a keen eye for landscaping. Everything you see at the farm is his time, effort, skilled hands, and talented eye. Mason helps them keep it real + keep everyone laughing. He’s really becoming a true asset to the running of the farm.
We moved to the farm in 2013 to create our own little slice of paradise. Over the years we have blended our passions to be able to offer you the same. Our focus is on the quality, health, resilience, and sustainability of our offerings.
