The Department of Visual Arts at Brock University is inviting the Brock and wider communities to participate in an upcoming community art sale and exhibition.

The FOUR x SIX Art Sale and Exhibition will run from December 5 to December 16, at the Visual Arts Gallery and Student Exhibition Space at Marilyn I. Walker School of Fine and Performing Arts (MIWSFPA). Submissions are being welcomed from Brock students, faculty, staff, alumni, and the public. All mediums are accepted—be it watercolour, acrylic, oil, collage, photographs, or other two-dimensional art forms.

Join in a vibrant evening at the reception and art sale on Friday, December 8, from 5 to 7 p.m. It’s an opportunity to mingle, appreciate exceptional art, and perhaps find the perfect piece to adorn your space. All selected artworks are priced at a flat rate of $40 per piece (cash only), ensuring accessibility for art lovers.

Artists, the deadline for submissions is fast approaching on Monday, November 20. Your artworks should measure four inches by six inches and can be created on various supports like paper, canvas, cardboard, wood, or stone.
