‘There’s Something in the Water’ Screening
September 25 @ 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Join us for a film screening of ‘There’s Something in the Water’ to learn more about environmental justice issues affecting Indigenous and Black communities in Canada.
After the film, there will be discussions on how to advocate for clean water and air for all communities. As we approach Truth and Reconciliation Day on September 30th, this event is a great opportunity to reflect on the lasting impact of colonialism, and actions we all can take to combat environmental racism.
We will be joined by guest speaker Mikellena Netto, who has conducted her master’s research focused on environmental racism in Southern Ontario.
