Port Dalhousie is home to many of the most historic trees in the Niagara Region.

Residents who are concerned that these majestic trees may not stand for future generations have partnered with TreeTrust.ca to launch a local Tree Trust chapter, and this event marks the beginning of that commitment to preserving our urban forest legacy.

The first tree they will save is a 100-year-old linden tree in St John’s Cemetery in Port Dalhousie.

The event will be a great opportunity to watch the careful pruning be done by a highly skilled arborist. Families can also learn how to plant a tree properly and much more.
